Location
According to Android and iOS requirements, the app can only get wifi information if location permission is turned on, and adding a camera needs to get wifi information, so location permission is needed.
You can turn off location permission after adding camera and use camera without location permission.
Microphone
If your camera supports voice intercom, you need to allow microphone permission to use it.
For cameras that don’t support voice intercom, you can choose to turn it off.
Sound stupid to share SSID+Password+Location just for setup a WIFI camera: location is irrelevant for connecting, just adds a huge risk of your access point become public to everyone that is near it. “It is what it is” is unnaceptable explanation for security matters.
