Download CamHiPro APP
Download The “Camhipro” App From The Apple App Store Or From The Google Play Store.
Connect CamHiPro camera
There are several ways to connect to your CamHiPro camera.
Sonic Connection
The Sonic Connection can only be used if the CamHipro camera beeps.
Before connecting the CamHiPro camera, connect the camera to the power supply and wait 30 seconds for the camera to start.
1. Click on Add Camera, IP camera and select New device.
2. Click on Power is on, next step, Not connected to the network cable, select Acoustic distribution network equipment
3. Make sure the CamHiPro camera is making a beep sound, then click Next step, scan the camera’s QR code, or if there is no QR code click Skip.
Enter your wifi password and click on Start sound wave matching.
(The QR code for CamHiPro cameras is usually on the bottom or back of the camera)
If your CamHiPro camera is not beeping, please reset the camera. After resetting the camera there is still no beep sound. This means that your camera does not support sonic connection, please use AP mode to connect.
4. Please turn the volume of your phone to the maximum, and close to the CamHiPro camera, then wait for the camera to connect, about 30-60 seconds.
After the CamHipro camera has successfully received the sound message, it will beep “Configuration successful”, then set a name and you can start using the camera.
AP mode connection
AP mode Suitable for most CamHiPro cameras.
1. Select New device, click on Power is on, next step,Not connected to the network cable.
2. Select the AP distribution network equipment, scan the QR code on the CamHiPro camera, then click “Join” in the pop-up window to connect to the camera’s hotspot wifi.
(The QR code for CamHiPro cameras is usually on the bottom or back of the camera)
3. Wait for your phone to connect to the CamHiPro camera’s hotspot wifi, it will automatically go to the next step after successful connection.
Click the ‘‘ icon to select your wifi, then enter your wifi password, make sure your wifi name and password are correct, then click Configure wireless and add devices, wait for the camera to connect to your wifi, about 30-60 seconds This will take about 30-60 seconds.
4. After successful connection set a name and you can start using the CamHiPro camera.
AP mode connection (No QR code)
If you cannot find the QR code for your CamHiPro camera or if the QR code cannot be scanned, you can use this method to connect to the camera.
1. Open your phone settings, then connect to the CamHiPro camera hotspot wifi, wifi name is “IPCAM-XXXXX” ,Default Password “01234567“.
After connecting wifi, return to CamHiPro APP, then click Add Camera, select IP camera.
(Can’t find the CamHiPro camera’s hotspot wifi? Please reset the camera.)
2. Select New device, click Yes, I want to add this device, please do not change your username or password and click Add to.
3. Click on the ‘‘ icon, select your wifi, and enter your wifi password.
Make sure your wifi name and password are correct, then click Configure wireless and add devices.
Wait for the camera to connect to your wifi, about 30-60 seconds, after successfully connecting set the camera name and you are ready to use.
Network cable connection
1. Connect the CamHiPro camera to the power supply, and connect the camera to the router with the network cable
Then open CamHiPro APP, click New device > Power is on, next step > Connected network cable
2. The APP will search for CamHiPro cameras on the LAN, click on the searched camera, then click Add to.
Please do not change your username and password, they are both default.
(If the camera cannot be searched, make sure the phone is connected to the same router as the camera)
3. Successfully connect your CamHiPro camera, set a name and you’re ready to go.
Change CamHiPro password
You will need to change the default password before you can start using the CamHiPro camera.
Click Yes, enter the Old Password and the new password, then click Apply. The default password is admin.
Sharing CamHiPro cameras allows multiple people or multiple phones to use the camera at the same time.
1. Go to the settings screen and click on the share icon, then save the QR code displayed.
2. To add a CamHiPro camera to a mobile phone, download and install the CamHiPro APP, then click Add Camera , select Add a sharing device
3. Scan the saved QR code, then click Add device to add a camera.
CamHiPro Recording setting
The CamHiPro camera requires a memory card to be inserted in order to use the recording function, please insert the memory card when the camera is switched off, otherwise the memory card may not be detected.
1. Insert the memory card, then check if the memory card is recognized in the SD card setting, if it shows abnormal, please Format SD Card.
2. The CamHiPro camera is activated for continuous recording by default, you can set it in SD card plan recording.
SD card plan recording interface description:
- Enable record: Record switch, this switch does not affect alarm recording.
- Planned video stream: CamHiPro camera has two streams, First stream is HD and Second stream is SD. You can change the stream setting in the Video setting.
- Recording length: The length of time each recorded video file is stored, can be set from 15-600 seconds. If you set 600 seconds, the CamHiPro camera will save once every 600 seconds, if the power is accidentally disconnected, then the recording may be lost.
- Recording time period:
- Easy setup: Recordedall day from Monday to Sunday
- Advanced setting: Manually customize the daily recording time period
Alarm recording settings
When alarm recording is activated, the camera will record when the CamHiPro camera detects movement of an object.
- Go to the Alarm management and notification screen, open Motion detection alarm, then scroll down and open Alarm recording to SD card.
If you only need Alarm recording, you can turn off Enable record in SD card plan recording. (Alarm recording and SD card plan recording can be activated at the same time.)
View or download recordings
Click on the ‘‘ icon to view the recorded video.
File playback: You can view each video file individually or download the video to your phone
Time playback: View recordings continuously.
CamHiPro Detection settings
Go to Alarm management and notification, turn on Receive alarm push and Motion detection alarm.
If you want the camera to detect sound as well, turn on “Sound alerts”.
Interface Description
- Receive alarm push: When an alarm is triggered, the app will receive an alarm notification.
- Push name: The name of the notification
- Motion detection alarm: detects if there is a moving object in the screen
- Adjust motion detection: The sensitivity of motion detection, try to adjust the sensitivity when there is no detection or false alarm.
- Audible alarm: A CamHiPro camera with a microphone function triggers an alarm when the surrounding sound is greater than the intensity of the camera Detected sound
- Easy setup: The camera can trigger an alarm at any time.
- Advanced setting: Manually customize the camera alarm time period
- Alarm recording to SD card: When a moving object is detected, a recording is made.
- When the alarm is triggered, the device Issues a siren: This feature is only supported by CamHiPro cameras that support voice intercom.
- Alarm capture sent to Email: When the alarm is triggered, the device Issues a siren.
- Alarm recording to FTP: When the alarm is triggered, the device Issues a siren.
Intelligent Tracking Settings
Intelligent tracking follows the movement of the object and is only supported by some PTZ-enabled CamHiPro cameras.
Go to the live video screen, slide the menu to option 3, then click Intelligent tracking to start.
Two-way Talk
If you want to talk with camera, need go to live video page
- Activate the Speaker icon, you can hear from camera
- Active the Microphone icon to speak
Note:You can not hear from camera when you active microphone, and can not speak when you hear from the camera, so you need switch from the microphone and speaker.
Night vision mode Settings
Floodlight-enabled CamHiPro cameras, with 3 night vision modes.
- Ordinary: IR LED works at night (light is low) automatically, picture is black/white, Floodlight does not work.
- Color: IR LED does not work at night, Floodlight works at night, picture is color .
- Intelligent: IR LED works at night, and when there is a motion detected, the IR LED will be off, the Floodlight will be on for 30 seconds, the it will be off if there is no motion in 30 seconds, if there are continue motions, the floodlight working time will extend until no motion detected, after floodlight off, the IR led will work again.
How can I watch multiple CamHiPro cameras at the same time?
CamHiPro APP can watch 4 cameras at the same time.
1. Click on the ‘‘ icon, switch to four pictures, then click +add four screen grouping, enter the group name, add the cameras you want to watch at the same time, then click determine to save.
Note: You need to connect the cameras to the CamhiPro APP before you can watch them at the same time.

Reset CamHipro Camera
Connect camera to power adapter, press and hold camera reset button for 20 seconds, it will reset and restart in 1 min, the reset button is on the cable with a cover.
