As an ANRAN camera owner, I understand the frustration that comes with encountering camera problems. ANRAN cameras are designed to provide high-quality surveillance footage, but like any other electronic device, they can experience issues that affect their performance. In this article, I will be discussing some common problems that ANRAN camera owners face and how to troubleshoot them.
Whether you’re experiencing connectivity issues, blurry footage, or camera malfunctions, it’s important to know how to resolve these problems quickly and efficiently. Troubleshooting your ANRAN camera can save you time and money, and it can also help you get the most out of your surveillance system.
By following the steps outlined in this article, you’ll be able to identify and fix common ANRAN camera problems. Whether you’re a business owner looking to protect your property or a homeowner looking to secure your home, these troubleshooting tips will help you get your ANRAN camera up and running smoothly.
Why can’t ANRAN cameras scan QR codes?
You can try the following 5 steps to fix ANRAN cameras not scanning QR codes, if that still doesn’t solve the problem, you can try connecting the camera using AP network mode.
- Remove any protective film from the lens of the ANRAN camera.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the ANRAN camera lens and your phone’s screen.
- Verify that the QR code is clearly visible on your screen (you may need to increase your phone’s brightness).
- Position the ANRAN camera lens directly over the QR code, maintaining a distance of 5-8 inches.
- Adjust the angle of your phone or the ANRAN camera until you hear a tone indicating successful scanning.
Why ANRAN Camera not connecting to wifi?
There could be several reasons why your NIAN camera is not connecting to wifi.
- Confirm that the WIFI account and password are accurate for your ANRAN camera setup.
- Keep in mind that most cameras, including the ANRAN camera, typically support only 2.4GHz WiFi networks.
- When installing a ANRAN camera, ensure that the network functions properly. For optimal results, it is advisable to operate close to the router.
- If the QR code method for network configuration fails, consider manually configuring the network. Avoid overly complicated passwords and refrain from using special characters like \ or ‘.
- Reset your ANRAN camera to attempt reconnection if necessary.
- If the ANRAN camera still fails to connect to the internet after trying both methods, consider restarting your router and trying once more.
Why is my ANRAN Camera offline?
One of the most common issues that ANRAN camera users face is the camera going offline. This can be frustrating, especially if you rely on your camera for security purposes.
- Verify the power supply status of the ANRAN camera: If the camera has a battery, ensure it is not low on charge. If the camera uses wired power, confirm that it is not powered off.
- Examine the ANRAN camera’s indicator status: If the red light blinks, reconfigure the network. If the blue light blinks, ensure the router is connected to the internet. If the indicator is off, verify that the ANRAN camera is powered on. If the camera is not powered on, restore factory settings.
Frequent disconnections may occur if the ANRAN camera’s current installation location has weak network signal reception. Adjust the camera’s position if necessary.
- Inspect your mobile network: If the ANRAN camera status indicator is blue, the camera is functioning well. Test the mobile network, turn off any active VPNs, and retry connecting the camera.
Can you use ANRAN Camera without cloud?
Yes, you can use ANRAN camera without cloud. ANRAN cameras come with a built-in SD card slot that allows you to store footage locally. This means that you can use the camera without having to pay for cloud storage.
My camera is conneted vie WIFI even showing healthy network, but on display screen its shwoing offline. On starting msg popup that automatic internet connection connected but unable to connecte .please try with mannual connection.
6 months seems to be the life expectancy. 2 of our 4 have stopped working
Camera is ok , but the APP is riddled with problems , and slow server. One word, DONT !
The above comments are just typical of anran cctv comeras, they (anran) try to blame the end user who are mostly doing everything right but the cameras are failing and the anran app is totally useless. Buy a good quality cctv camera next time and bin the anran camera, asi will. I have all the same issues, my son is a tech and we know how to set these up yet after running the cameras for some time successfully they just decide to fail with all the same problems as the posters above. Basically tell your friends not to use Anran cameras . Enough said.
Worked okay for awhile then decided to stop as stated connection failed. Have tried to reset the camera and also deleted and reactivated the app with a different account and the camera will not read the QR code on the phone and will not connect manually. Have tried to restard the camera a dozen times on reset to get it working but it will not connect saying 2.4 gtz wireless is not working and keeps telling me that its time out when the wifi is working correctly. Have tried to set it up on a tablet where it was working before but it wont neither will it work on the phone and will not read the tablet. Had the unit for less than 12 months.
Please tell us how to make the Q01 cameras use SD card only and work the same as if we had cloud.
or do we need to wait until cloud trial period finishes. plain an simple when I bought mine I have 3,
I didn’t think I would have to have a cloud account . if I would of known that I may not of bought them.
Please tell us what to do. I am almost ready to send them back to you all with a letter telling you all what to do with them. and make a post for everyone not to buy, just tell us all how to make SD card work like cloud. Sorry I got a little upset, but I am just a little frustrated.
Thanks
I have had this camera for 6 months.it’s now sitting in a drawer as it would never connect to the Wi-Fi it’s total Carlin going to crush it in a vice soon.because it’s rubbish.
My camera alerts me to movement. Then says TIPS: no video available. It has done this since I recharged it. It has also deleted my videos and is not storing new ones. Everything from yesterday is erased and the calendar is greyed out
What is third configuration mode
That is the message I get from the camera , keeps going offline
ARCCTV app Notifications are working properly, but when I open the app the “news” button has no count & no video can be view via SD card. Hit & miss on 2 of the 4 cameras, other 2 seem blind.
Issue recent for 1 camera, self corrected. Now 3 out of 4 cameras seem effected the same way.
